The Vukuzithathe Primary School governing body (SGB) is a statutory body of parents, educators, non-teaching staff who seek to work together to promote the well-being and effectiveness of the school community and there by enhance learning and teaching.

The governing body is successfully focused on raising standards and promoting the personal development and well-being of all the leaners. Governors have a clear understanding of the strategic priorities for the school  and ensure an appropriate plan is in place and implemented effectively. It also has a good understanding of the quality of provision within its school and how the schools performance compares locally and nationally
